Jai Budhadev Arts & Science College (JBD), named after Jai Budhadev, a revered form of Shiva, is the only institution of higher education in Katghora, serving students from the town and surrounding areas who would otherwise have to travel far from home for a college degree. Founded in 2003, the college was established to address the significant gap in higher education accessibility in the region.
